I saw the Siberian Tigers at Port Lympne Zoo yesterday, they are beautiful animals. Are the tigers in this video likely to be the same ones which I saw yesterday? I have uploaded a video of them to my channel.

@thundag0d It is possible... for the weight at least. Horses weigh around 100 pounds... so why can't tigers? ABout the 13 ft. I'm not sure... But yeah.

Is there any contact information to speak with Chris, the keeper? I have been fascinated with all animals since a young child, and I am looking for some information on what to do to get in the position he is in. Most universities/colleges in my area have no idea where to get me started! I plan on graduating in Fall 2011 and I am currently working on my Zoo Tech certificate, as well. Emailing/Speaking with him would give me a lot of insight on what the process is!! Thanks so much!
Check out the other video of those tigers playing with an old Christmas tree on the Howletts and Port Lympne channel. Let us know what you thought of your visit too! Hope you had fun :)

Do you guys have Bengal Tigers as well as Siberian Tigers? What about Jaguars, Leopards and elephants?
DrAtoda 2 years ago
Yes, we have Bengals at Port Lympne where this video was filmed, and also at our sister park, Howletts, nr Canterbury. Howletts is also home to the largest herd of African elephants in the UK, and four reside at Port Lympne. Also have snow leopards at both parks, but no jaguars I'm afraid - still plenty to see though and I hope you enjoy it :)

Thank you very much. I am moving to England this September and where I live we don't have Black Rhinos, Bengal Tigers, African Elephants or even Snow Leopards unfortunately :( One of the first things I want to do is visit your park. Tell me at what times do you open?
DrAtoda 2 years ago
Both parks are open every day, except Christmas Day, from 10am. There's plenty to see at the parks throughout the day, including gorilla feeds twice a day. If you're planning on catching some of our elusive small cats then first thing or late afternoon are great times to see them in action! Check out our website before you visit for current prices and ticket discounts :)
