My custom mame machine with a customized Maximus Arcade frontend.

The Cabinet is an old Sega STV (Sega Titan Video) machine which I completly stripped out (the screen and the inards were shot) and installed my pc and replaced the existing control panel with an x-arcade tankstick with power on and off buttons.

The new screen is a 25" Sony Trinitron.

I have a lot of cosmetic work left to do on the cabinet but it is completly playable.

My PC has a 2.4ghz Athlon Dual Core Processor, 2 gig of ram, a Nvidea G-Force 7 graphics card and a 160 gig hard drive.It may not be the most powerful computer but it plays everything i want it to.

The frontend is Maximus Arcade with a few tweeks that don't come as standard.

1.Custom MAME list which includes all CPSIII Emulator, Daphne, Radikal Bikers Emulator, Sega Model 2 Emu,Viva Nonno, Zinc and American Laser Games (Mad Dog McCree, Who Shot Johnny Rock?, Crime Patrol Ect...)

2.StepMania

3.Guitar Zero 2

I have 2 guitars and a dance mat added to the machine and am in the process of adding a couple of light guns.

@MrMame1974 I see you're using Guitar Zero. If you haven't seen Frets on Fire (FOF), I highly suggest you check it out, as it has been around a long time and has a huge community behind it, skinning mods, loads of songs and is very polished off etc... Just all around better than Guitar Zero IMO

Guitar Zero is decent, but it is really just a clone of FOF. So if you're interested in something like Guitar Zero, but is much more advanced in design FOF is something you might want to check out :)

@janX9 Thanks for the comment :).I'm very aware of frets on fire, and i do agree its an excellent piece of software but ultimatley i prefer guitar zero.At the end of the day its all a case of preferences.

Good job on your cab and MA by the way! Nice to see guitars set up on a cab. Not enough cabs have guitars and lightguns on them

If your interested I have some Tutorials regarding unsupported emulators in MA. Like the Wii, gamecube etc... Actually I just realized indigo2k1us mentioned his blog in a post to you a few months ago where he has some of my videos posted, so you may have seen some already

@janX9 Yes they are good people, you all are ;0).The software side of my cab (just made a new theme) is complete.Its just cosmetics to do now i'm covering the cab in black vinyl, new control panel graphics and get rid of the awful yellow decathlete marquee.I will post a video when its finally done.Thanks again for commenting

Thanks for the cool comments.I was thinking about uploading my theme somewhere but because my theme tailored to my 'needs' i'd have to redo the same theme again but with the native emulator pics, marquees, logos , etc.I may do that when i find time

Cool theme and awesome website. I link to it a lot on the byoac forum. You should post this theme there!  Kinda funny, I use the exact same simpsons pinball image on my maximus theme.

Excellent stuff, i like your work sir.I would love to add demul to the mame list but my little 2.4ghz processor can't cope with it.I will upgrade my pc eventually but moneys pretty tight just lately.If i had a better pc i could add psxmame so i can play Soul Calibur & Tekken Tag
