@ricglas You gotta come drinking with me to understand. Like I said, no one instructed you when you had your first root did they? Did someone guide you though that first experience? Or DID YOU WORK THAT OUT YOURSELF???? Anyways, You seem nice, thank you for your kind advice.

@Ex3B Wow, so far, I'm an idiot, I'm dead, I'm going to kill myself....blah blah blah...so boring, come on blokes, wake up to yourselves and pull your ball sacs harder.
-
@Alfredoddarke Where IS the fun in that Bloke? Come on fellas, get your adventure hats on and stop being grand mothers, you all here do as you were told? Ha! I don't think so....I'm alive, always doing things cause it feels right....who needs lessons? Did you have lessons to root? Or did you go by trial & error? I love the interest here, it really does explain a lot of things about neg heads
-
@midtoad Sorry to disappoint you, you conservative person. 40 years? stuff that, go by feel method works for me, maybe not for all, but then again, how many "experienced" pilots are injured and dead now? Ha!
-
@liotcik I thank you mate, nice to hear some positives here. I love flying without any barriers to learning.
-
@BirdmanAcademyHG Yes, so everyone tells me, hang around, more crazies to come. Next part - Motor power home built fixed wing stunt plane! - No, I am not joking, I love this stuff
-
@CHGCvids Sure, thanks! Will do, nope, next round, I'm putting a 250cc motor on the back of a tricycle undercarridge! My kness won't take this load for much longer, I've had 2 x knee op. not longago for sports issues. Thanks for the good suggestion.
-
Have you ever heard of lockout? Or, having some sort of tow release system? Or a helmet....Or lessons? Wow dude I am way suprised that you are still alive after 3 tows like that.
-
Buddy, go find an instructor, learning by trial and error in this sport can kill you. Please, go get some instruction before that happens.
-
Good job guys, if you wont die you have chance becoming very good pilot, you have great skills.
-
You are ignoring 40 years of experience by others in how to train to fly hang gliders. You have learned nothing from all of the deaths that have occurred. Do yourselves a favour and seek out professional instruction. Otherwise you're sure to add yourselves to the list of injured or dead.
-
Please, get some instruction, you will enjoy it a whole lot more, and for longer.

"great nose in landing"
.....
I am at a loss for words..... if you think a "nose in landing" is great.
People can learn without formal instruction, but only if they are very conservative, and educate themselves properly first.
I can see neither one applies to you.
If you don't change your behavior, you will likely seriously hurt yourself, if not outright kill yourself.

na, prefer to go in the air.....much nicer scenery. Harness, yes, need that, was stuck in storage, will sort a more comfortable piece for next run. Thanks Deltaspai!
now if u had an instructor he would tell u that u wer landing in full stall. to little speed on landing

@viagro1980 Yes, probably would have, but you know what? Learning that myself by jumping off cliffs and getting pulled so dangerously off the back of my ute is a real thriller, I had a harness, but it got locked out, and besides, if I was going to shit myself, it's a lot easier to clean my gear! thanks for the advice though, I aint knocking ya, take care.

@deltaspai Gees, you so smart, what you do? drop out of high school because you bonged on too hard near the school toilet block? No I do NOT want to die, there are too many things for me to do more important than "buying a gun", I am not going to even waste time to try to imagine what you do for interests....
