Praising the Lord even in the time of pain . . . this is the musical embodiment of what so many of us are still learning how to do. So utterly lovely, and encouraging!

  • From 8:13 to 9:00, this would force tears. Such a powerful climax.

  • @Boot9135 Nathan Stone.

  • @swatson1190 Who hit the low G? ;)

  • We sang this for choir when I was in high school about twenty or so years ago. We sang for Gov. Bill Clinton for a Christmas reception that they had at the state capital.

  • @VitaliyGR you said all so well. Thank you.

  • ... as he promised to Abraham and his seed forever... what a moment.

    Bravo coro.

  • @Kerguelen1 No, magnificAT! :)

On a more serious note, this is absolutely beautiful. I never realised that a choir I'm in was doing it, and only realised when we started rehearsing it two hours ago. I was very, very happy.

  • Превосходное пение великого труда православного композитора. Приносит мне большое спокойствие и тихую радость. Спасибо большое.

  • Thank you, Vitaliy. Very moving. Can listen to it again and again.

  • I can't even understand Russian, but the music alone is breathtaking.
