This whole trend of "voting for the person you'd most like to get a beer with" is really starting to freak me out, not just because it seems to override the text on a candidate's CV. I'm freaking out because characters like O'Donnell have pulled some really shady stunts (cutting off all contact with the media, for example), and people will STILL vote because of her down-home, mom-like, aw-shucks sensibility DESPITE her revealing herself to be a bad candidate, in her own damn words.
