Finding stuff buried in the ground
If you have lost something under the ground there are a couple of ways to get it back. First, if you are still in Editing mode, try drawing selection rectangles over where you last saw the missing object. You may be able to see the arrows again, and click-drag the item back up. There is another way. Ctrl-Alt-D or Ctrl-D on a Mac opens Advanced menu. Click on "Disable Camera Constraints". Disabling Camera Constraints allows you to "clip" through terrain. If you turn this option on, you can move the camera underground! (To orbit the camera you can either hold Ctrl-Alt, or you can use View menu -- Camera Controls.) Once you find your object underground, you can click on the object and drag it back above the surface.
Very great stuff,thumbs up

another great way to find items in ground or walls.. is to go to wireframe view mode.. this is in the adv menu and there is a hotkey. ctrl+shift+R i think.. but you can double check that in the adv menu. thanks

yeah those are great ways for finding items. but one thing that I find very helpful is going to wireframe mode... in the adv menu set. or Ctrl+shift+R
I think. but if thats not correct. it the ADV menu and also show the hotkey beside that wireframe option. but if you are a area like a store with tons of walls of items then this is no good for anyone because you just see lines. But like in this video it can make it very easy to see the item in the ground or walls
