Excellent reel, great skill in playing. Can i suggest less speed, and more feeling? Hope you don't take offence, but its so fast its a blur!

I've got the ABC notation in a program now, so I can learn it.
I've got one question though, is this tune in GDAE?

Would you mind sharing this reel with me? I'm gonna start an irish folk band, and I want this reel in my session. I think it sounds great, and I want permission of the creator ofcourse ; ).

Fab tune - expertly played!

i like it, it's good. i don't suppose you could tell me the difference between an irish tenor banjo and a bluegrass banjo could you? It's just i'm learning to play one or the other and i'm not sure which one to take up. Personally, i prefer the bluegrass, it's more, hillbillyish! lol, thanks and welldone.

How's the form! This is a Tenor banjo, it has 4 strings and is played with a pick which 'dances' lightly around the strings creating the singles notes and ornamentation. You use it for Irish trad music. A bluegrass or 'hillbilly' banjo has 5 strings and is tuned to open G, generally it is played with a thumbpick and two fingerpicks that are used to create chordal rolls, drones and licks. These are for bluegrass or country music and are not suitable for Irish trad.

That's really good, nice tune, nice triplets. Soon to be heard around the pubs in SW Scotland!
