DinoBrain is a Crossword Learning Game that helps you learn about dinosaurs as you solve puzzles and build your Dino Zoo by collecting 5 different dinosaurs in 3 different cages!
Choose one of 15 crossword puzzles and answer the questions. If a word turns green, you know you got it right. If you need help, ask for a HINT or use the LEARN pages where you can learn all you need to know to solve the puzzles!
If you get all the puzzle questions correct without using any hints, you will earn something new for your Dino Zoo! If you do use a hint, touch the RESET button to try for a perfect score.
Collect all 5 dinosaurs - Tyrannosaurus rex, Allosaurus, Apatosaurus, Styracosaurus and Stegosaurus. Unlock all 3 cages - Forest, Lava, and Cave. Be sure to tap the glass of your dino's cage to see what it will do - each dino has a number of animations!
When you solve all the puzzles, you'll feel good about yourself -- you've learned a ton!
✐For parents - Why is this a learning game?✎
Unlike paper-and-pencil crosswords, this Crossword Learning Game encourages children to keep practicing until they achieve mastery of the material being studied. Only when children achieve a perfect score without any hints - in other words, master the material - are they awarded a new prize. Content is repeated with variations, growing gradually more difficult from the main puzzle, to puzzle #2 through puzzle #3.
Because Crossword Learning Games are interactive, children receive immediate feedback which allows them to correct themselves and learn faster.
