A close-minded skeptic will remain skeptical even when undeniable proof is given. The latter is usually quite unhealthy and indicates the person's inability to adapt to change.

@thejdrox Exactly. It's sickening. I know people today who have fallen prey to people who claim to be experts on a specific topic, but have no prior experience. Like some of those 'health' experts that try to help overweight people. Even though they have never been overweight themselves, they somehow 'know' all the answers to losing weight. People who follow weight loss quacks usually end up badly ill or worse. Same with your child: the advice didn't work. Society needs to wake up.
