This one was disaster for me, I expected so much better since the third one in1989, more than 10 years to make fourth one. But the outcome was so disappointed.. Third one was the best, and they should have stopped at 3rd, no more. Now they are making 5th one.. I'm not watching it sadly...

I liked this movie. It wasn't as good as the trilogy, but I think it makes an excellent addition to the canon. And it is still much better than Temple of Doom. I think many people can agree on that.

I just don't understand why did Irina and her crew stole the alien body from area 51?
She said that they have desected two others from the crach site in the soviet uion. So why did they killed the area 51 guardians and took the "mummified remains"

I agree on that the Aliens should have been skipped. Its also true that Lucas personally can have a negative effect if he dominates his projects too much. With a powerful counterpart(Like he had during Empire Strikes Back, when he left the Director seat to his old teacher)Lucas can create masterpieces! One of the worst things was also the overuse of CGI. If you are going to have giant ants, why not use real Peruvian Dinosaur ants for example?

Steven Spielberg should have trusted his gut and not made this move. George Lucas is a hack who convinced him to make this.
