Port McNeill is located on Northern Vancouver Island, approx. 350 kms north of Nanaimo ferry terminal, 3 ½ hours drive, 200 kms or 2 hours drive from Campbell River, 35 kms or 25 minutes drive from Port Hardy airport with regular 1 hour flights to/from Vancouver. Ferry terminal with service to Prince Rupert and Bella Coola is 25 minutes drive. Port McNeill is the main access point to Alert Bay (Cormorant Island) and Sointula (Malcolm Island) by the Tri-Island ferry.

Fishing - Port McNeill has World Class salmon and halibut fishing anywhere on the island. Many of the lakes also offer steelhead and other trout fishing. Local helicopter and float plane companies also offer specialized fishing tours.

This makes me want to move back to Port Mc Neill. I love where your house sits Close to down town on quiet low traffic road with breath taking views . You forgot to tell everyone how great the fishing is.
