Thank you very much... all I had to do is save it as PNG to make the background transparent.

@enVme731 When you find a picture you want, type in Example "pokemon".png in google search it ill find ones with the background already out

G'day mate, im getting a white border around my rendered image on the translation part of the sig after i upload it. i can not see see border on PS. any idea how to fix this?

@otto11266 right, what you have there is the remains of antialiasing. If you cut it out from a white background, you'll get that. I suggest you put a background layer of some colour where you can see it, and just go around the render and eraser off the white. Either that or fiddle with the magic wand tool settings and try and cut out the render again.

can you please help me, I am trying to create a signature. I have established a background. next I created a new layer to put a pokemon ontop, when I do this there is a white box (or black on a jpg). How do I get rid of this box. I got rid of it before but saved the signature as a jpg and can't edit it.

@enVme731 well jpegs do not support transparency. So that's where it came from. In future save as .png.
In order to remove the white box, use the Magic Wand Tool, (W), select the white areas, hit delete, then use the eraser to get ride of the bits left over. It's meticulous work, but the only way to do it I'm afraid. Hope that helps!.
