The first stage of the Caen mission is over and now we are ready to proceed and take the rest of the city. Only problem is that now I have redundant units that aren't that effective on the offensive and that I am now a different company (Royals Scots Engineers now).
*Sigh* I wish I could retire units so I wouldn't have to send them to their deaths to free up pop cap. Oh well, anyway you will at first see some of the units get thrown away to free up some room.
You will also notice ALOT of mines and preparations for the next stage of the mission. This is crucial and will be one of the few times you will have the chance to do it. Utilize lulls in the fighting to setup. Using Bofors and 17 Pounders allows some anti-infantry and anti-tank to cover 360 degrees around them. These posts will pull their weight in the next mission. Use 2 Bofors and setup 17 pounders around the positions I put them in and you will make the next mission all the more easy for you.
Once again another easy medal. Simply kill the officer and needless to say, even if he runs from you in the end he won't leave the map.
The guys around 9:00 - 9:12 were like "This isnt going to end well..."
