TR) Fransa'da devam eden "Türkiye Mevsimi" etkinlikleri çerçevesinde Eyfel Kulesi 6 Ekim 2009 saat 21.00'de Türk bayrağının renkleri olan kırmızı beyazla ışıklandırıldı.

EN) Within the ongoing spectacles of the "Turkish Season in France", The Eiffel Tower has been illuminated with the colors of Turkish flag, red and white, on October 6th, 9 p.m.

FR) La Tour Eiffel était illuminée le 6 octobre 2009 à 21h00 en rouge et blanc, aux couleurs de la Turquie, dans le cadre de la "Saison de la Turquie en France".

come on, I live in France for the last 5 years and trully I dont think the French people are racist. On the same time, im a student and the people i meet they are of course educated people with an academic background. I dont know very well what happends in the rural parts of the country nor with the ''blue collar'' people but trully from my experience here, young people show support to foreigns here. As for Sarkozy, i aggree with most young people, he is a bastard and not representing the people

French people are just racists. No more Rousseaus, no more Sartres.

Every country up to date had a year in France, but when it came to turkey, France reduced it to a season of three months.

So much for friendship and being a role model. And we will never forget Sarkozy chewing gums in the presence of head of the state.
