  • If your car/taxi/bike/bus got hit by a bus on the way home, would you blame the anesthesia for that too ?

Anesthesia didn't contribute one iota to the girl's fever.

The worry with cold/flu and anesthesia is that she might have choked while unconscious. Eg she might vomit and then choke, or just have too much phlegm in her nose/throat to breath.

Well I can only assume there was no symptom of choking or hypothermia , or allergy reaction.

So the anesthesia caused no problem whatsoever.

  • Assuming you aren't a doctor, and forgive us if you are, this video and all comments made are based upon opinions, not scientific fact. We recommend consulting with your physician before making any decisions regarding anesthesia.

  • I agree. There's not a single professional involved in this video. It's just one woman's story with no evidence that these complications were caused by the anesthesia. Reminds me of Fox News. I think most people who work in health care will agree with us.

  • It is lovely when people who are in the wrong start talking nonsense. I have never stated I am a doctor, and I am not. This is a lie.

The fact remains - people are allergic to anaesthetics, and people die from them.

Some people are allergic to penicillin, others are fine with it.

This person evidently hasn't even done basic research. He simply here to cause trouble.

  • All I have to say is if you have hypochondria, don't watch this series.

  • I agree!!

  • actually this hospital watches them and makes sure they dont slip again yes he was very sleepy but thats to be expected! they put my husband under and after i tols them not to wake him too quickly and if he has an episode to call me (he has ptsd anestesia is a trigger to it) but they went ahead and woke him quickly and wondered why he freaked out 3 times on them!! the childrens hospital treated my son better for a simpler operation! and my husband is diabetic as well! u gotta watch em all!

  • Then while the staff's backs are tured , the gas that was lingering in the fat cells gets released back into the blood and they start slipping off again. and now they're laying there heliless choking on their saliva. Not to mention that most inhailed anesthesia agents are triggers for post surgical nausea and vomiting. In my opinion you want to have them try and make your childs first surgical experience as pleasant as possible to eliminate future medical apprehensiveness in their lives.

  • Going under anesthesia is a risk for everyone regardless of age. Gas Anesthesia agents such as Nitrous Oxide , Cyclopropane , sevoflurane , desflurane , isoflurane and halothane pose the highest risk for post surgical complications. The most common is caused because some of the gas gets stored in the fat cells particularly in heavier children. The child awakes from the sleep and they look at him/her and say everythings ok.

  • also this person hasnt figured out im a woman... it would be some splainin for the 3 kids ive had and umm the breastfeeding if i were a man!! and i feel more for my kids when they are hurt than any man (save for daddy n great grandaddy) could feel for the kids!! im not comfortable with haveing my kids put fully under which is why i like that they just gas th ekids n numb the area to fix their tounge1! the gas just makes them drowsy and relaxed so they dont remember the procedure!!

  • umm ask the other person they brought it up!! they think circumcised people dont have as much pleasure.....but seriously i still think its best to keep the child no matter the procedure for an hour or so if they are put fully under!! my son got his tounge tie fixed they only gassed him numbed the area snipped it then stitched the end so it didint tear further but there are children that are put under fully that get sick after and the drs dont pay attention to the signs!

  • And what might I ask does this circumcision discussion have to do with this video LOL

  • hahaha...

The only reason you approve circumcision is because they stole it from you when you were a child. If you were 30 now and you still had your foreskin you wouldnt remove it.

You are not a complete man. WUSS

  • you are just dating some gnarley ass people
