This video is about how my love of science and hunger for understanding led me away from the Catholic church and made me into the Agnostic Atheist I am today. Trying to deny the nature of reality with religion is about as useful as attempting to turn back the tide by shouting at it.

I'm a great admirer of philhellenes' videos and find that the format is perfect for expressing the kind of awe and inspiration that reality nurtures. So I attempted to blend the underlying structure of those videos with my own editing and visual style. Hopefully you'll enjoy the results.

BTW: Sorry about the annoying ads YT has put on this, they have nothing to do with me. Just a necessary price to pay when using copyrighted music. :(

In determining whether the use made of a work in any particular case is a fair use the factors to be considered shall include:

(1) the PURPOSE and CHARACTER of the use, including whether such use is of a commercial nature or is for NON-PROFIT educational purposes;

  • @JackMWolfe Pathetic. People can't refute things after they're dead, dipshit. And the only "shortcomings" Darwin experienced were technological. He was limited by the instruments available at the time. In the past 150 years, scientists have amassed immeasurable amounts of evidence for evolution by natural selection. For all intents & purposes, it is a FACT. Your refusal to acknowledge it means nothing to me. If anyone's asleep, it's YOU, cowboy. I'm done here. Fuck off & die.

  • @JackMWolfe As soon as I read 'nothing supports evolution & instead disproves it' ... I stopped reading and just blocked you. Ignorance of science is not an excuse.

  • There could of course be another explanation; "god" could have seeded other planets, he just didn't tell us about them. There could be many "gods" and each one is given a universe as a science experiment.

  • @JackMWolfe There is more evolution than just poor little "Lucy" who was a hominid that probably walked up right a very long time ago.

You just won't accept that evidence.

Also, even if evolution were to be based on no evidence like you're saying it is, which is totally contrary to the reality of things, you have no right to say anything.

Your beliefs are based off of nothing and you believe what a random book from the ancient ME tells you to. Don't throw stones in a glass house.

  • absolutely beautiful. Thank you.

  • Can you imagine the beauty of a galaxy with only red giant star systems?

or a dual core galaxy? one who'se stars teeter on the edge of the draw of the great pull of 2 black holes... or even more..

What of a nebula, larger than our milky way itself. With the sheer number of known galaxies, and knowing we dont know 10%, odds that these exist, swirling about beyond us. is more probable than a god looking down on just us

  • Nice video

  • @LosAngelesFresh1 Operational science proves that gravity exists but NOTHING that's taken place in the past or what we see in the present supports evolution & instead disproves it. If true, we should literally be tripping over the evidence - it's strictly a faith-based belief system & like Darwin, its adherents HOPE to someday find proof for it. After 150 years, all they have are a bunch of hoaxes like Lucy or the Piltdown man - you have more faith than any religious zealot on the planet!

  • @LosAngelesFresh1 You should know that the first ones who opposed Hitler were Catholic and Protestan priests and many of them lost their lives for that. Did you ever hear of Dietrich Bonhoeffer?

  • @TheAwesomeMaths The 3rd Reich was a Christian based movement lol. You need to study up a little on world war 2, christian fundamentals were used to push Nazi propaganda. Stalin only promoted atheism to help push communism throughout Europe.

  • @LosAngelesFresh1 I know Eistein was not a Christian, but the men I told you about were Christians. Hitler was not an atheist but he hasn't very pro-Christian considering all the priests who where executed by the Nazi.

Maxwell, for example ,wrote to his father when he was at college saying that he will analyse the validity of Christianity.
