Burning Bright - viral video competition entry

Cathy Fitzgerald made this short film response to Irish Biodiversity week in 2008 - it's a small visual gesture about how mimicing Close to Nature, sustainable forestry management methods can simply and positively improve biodiversity. This type of forestry management is focussed on creating ecologically and economically sustainable permanent Forests and is a growing, and respected movement, spearheaded by leading foresters across many EU countries in an organisation called Pro Silva (Latin: 'for forests') - Ireland has a small branch and EU foresters are regularly coming to share their knowledge here.
