With Colorado's 300 days of sunshine, we still have many days during our winter when roadways can become icy, snow-covered, with white-out conditions. Winter avalanches can also close roads and cause dangerous conditions. The Colorado Department of Transportation is helping to keep you safe by moving tons of snow off of the roadways. This video describes tips to be safer as you share the road with our snowplows and drive in Colorado's winter season.
