Vietnam had just fought americans, south vietnam, and khmer rouge. They were battle-hardened for 30 years. Chinese troops didnt fight anyone since korean war. How could they win?

Also, China backed Khmer rouge, and massacred millions of Cambodians. Vietnam saved Cambodian people from annihilation, the whole world know this fact.
