Shaky Video At Start - Gets Better - Stick With It.
Black Angels' Alex Maas performs "Melanie's Melody" from the EP "Phosgene Nightmare" at the Music Hall Of Williamsburg in Brooklyn. The clip is very shaky at first - stick with it because it gets better. It was so dark that I couldn't find Alex on the touchscreen. The audio is pretty good.
This track is a favorite of mine -- I was happy to see the Black Angels devote part of their encore to a few of their rarer tracks.
This show was part of a great Halloween weekend for me that seemed to include a little bit of everything: great music, great venues, snow, rain, sunshine, great food, a lot of beer and the Hugging Couch at the COCO MoCA.
