I am fairly certain that this is the version (with harmonica) that I had on a Pickwick label LP I bought in the early 70's. Don't know where or when the recording first appeared though.

Thank you.

Finally, if my memory serves me correctly, "Out of the Sunshine" was a good basic song done by most band, ( George Oliver has one version here on You TUbe). The one by the Shays, and DCT was not on an album but on the back of one of their 45's. I am not sure , but I think it was on the back of ( Take me BAck)

All this was before Mandala, George oliver was auditioning band memeber downstaris at the "Devils Den" by the Village, the drummer "whitey" was , at the time , with "Whitey and the Roulettes". Anddddd, Club Bluenote used to be favourite haunts for the likes of Diane Brooks and Shirley Mathews, two great blues and R&B singers.( CAnadian)

@joeyd1957 No, Club Bluenote, on the west side of younge st. accross from the "Hawks Nest" was a smaller venue, upstairs much too small to be reflected in the pic. The band used to set up in the corner, to leave a bit more room for the dance floor.
also, in addition to other comments, this was before Mandala and the guitarist with M, was Domenic. Freddy Keeler never had a set of Ludwigs, I did, and they were stored in Brians White's house, the organist for the Shays.

Was this at the Club Bluenote ?

Strat and Teles every where; best band in Toronto anytime...
-
Fred Keeler was a friend of Bill Jeffries in those days.Knew he was using a Fender ( left-handed) and assumed it was a telecaster. Sorry. John
-
I said he did play a strat for heavens sake maybe you should learn how to read
-
@iamburningone: He may also have had a set of Ludwig drums and a Yamaha grand piano, but his main guitar was a Telecaster. Look at the pictures, for heaven's sake!
I was there. I knew all the band member and David Clayton Thomas personally.
This was before Mandala, Opportunity, and the guitar player is NOT Domenic, "iamburnigone", it is Freddy K.
Brian White on organ, a classmate of mine at Downsview, and John on drums.
.....great band and great singer for that time.

This is the remake version, which differs from the original by way of new music parts overdubbed onto the original, such as a guitar that's in tune this time. Can you help us to figure out the existence of this track?
