where did u get this arrangement

the only one i've seen is from the workshops and is very differnet

This arrangement came directly from the score. I didn't know there were early versions of it.  Which is better, do you think?

@SIUCreigh102 Well, the other just doesn't hold the higher notes, you still have an f# at the top of both of them. I personally use Maybe we just made Love.

This version is much more melodic and has a better character structure. It really is the turning point for Austin. In earlier versions, the song and lyrics were slightly different (as stated previously) and did not have the melodic drive needed for the pivotal moment of the character's decision to "change" for lack of better words, for Marcy. --- in a nutshell...this version is better...and is a great audition piece. Use it for most of my auditions...always get cast.

First off, let me just say PHENOMENAL performance of this song. I'm just curious why so many more people use this song while so few use "Maybe We Just Made Love." I've always found the latter to be the more impressive song. Perhaps it's the stark lack of high notes to make us wish we didn't have testicles. Who knows. Great job, again. Really true to the original.

i tihnk its a matter of opinion

my good friend uses this for his college auditions but the other arrangement has some different lyrics and notes

for example the so i sayyyyyy is an A which is cool

but the ending is different and lower and very anti climatic

i like this one better

you do a very good job by the way
