http://www.kialoa.com KIALOA uses the LeverLock Adjustable System in our adjustable paddles. You may find that you will need to adjust the cable that creates tension keeping your adjustment in place. This video instructs you on the proper way to do that and keep you on the water with your KIALOA for years to come.

You will need pliers and a 3/8ths wrench
Keep the shaft secured between your knees and hold cotter pin or center metal dowel in place while you tighten the nut. Do not over tighten.

This will prevent the cable that runs through the center of the inner shaft from twisting. Twisting causes the tiny fibers in the cable to break and will result in cable failure.
