I've got an estudio 280 is burning paper. tech says it needs a new fuser which will cost $450. Would like your opinion on it.

just opened and cleaned a fuser today
Aluminium roller was bad and used abrasive paper to clean it.

Green drum? looks like a blue generic (katun type) drum to me... Yes the genuine ones have a green opc coating..

@copierkats This is a video that I made for a remote location up North, when I didn't want to do a two day trip for a simple fix that they could do themselves. Hey Dizzy, you might want to try adjusting the color on your monitor!. This machine was out ot the box from Toshiba.
No Katun garbage enters this dealership. Don't need any self inflicted service calls!
