Magic Mouse Impressions - A few things to be aware of

I was excited to get this mouse until I tried it out today in a Mac store.
Here is why.

you can download a free app called magic prefs that allows you to have multiple shortcuts by using three finger swipes, and pinches and things like that. You can have more than one shortcut, it makes the mouse very useful.

@bce02 good to know thanks. I wondered if something like that would come out eventually. Maybe I'll have to give it another look.

you can still use hot corners with Mac OS X though... I use hot corners and the middle and side buttons now, but I could easily get used to using just hot corners

true. I thought about that, but I really don't like using the corners very much. I hit them accidentally too often. Personal preference

well, you can always set a modifier key so they only function when you hold down a specified key
