EcoBio-Stone is neutral, it won't affect your pH. Cichlids like a higher pH., cichild owners like EcoBio products because it keeps their water clear and healthy.

Hi,
It's both a stone (made of volcanic rock) and biological. It has a unique bacteria in it that works both aerobically and anaerobically to breakdown organic waste into safer by products. This clarifies the water and eliminates odors, making a healthy ecosystem for fish.
