You always jump to the opener, because of the tension being released.
Unless he would open with something from Nebraska, there will be bouncing. And downbound train isn't just a good sad song, it's a good rock song!

Well, I guess you like going to rock shows where everybody just stand still and stare and I guess The Boss really hates people making a whole stadium bounce when he tries to concentrate. OMG how old are you? Welcome to Stockholmto learn something about what it means to BOUNCE, to LOVE, to CRY - what it means to live and die :D

liveliest reaction ever to a sad song.

My lord it's a powerful performance. I love the bridge.
-
it's not a harmonica, it's a accordion;)
-
in every country nils played the most popular traditional song of that country when he came out. In Dublin, Ireland it was 'The fields of Athenry'. It gets the crowd going wild.
-
it's nils lofgren who plays "Idas Sommarvisa" on the harmonica. he is from sweden, and "idas sommarvisa" is an old old swedish folk song. i know the song from the astrid-lindgren-movie "emil i lönneberga". i was very surprised to find it here as teh opening of bruces concert !
-
Now That's how you open a set!
-
Oh my god! Do you seriously have an issue taking in WHOLE messages - "meaning of the WHOLE album".
Born in the USA v. The River?! Completely different contexts...
Whatever, keep on making daft negative comments everywhere, and I'm sure you'll enlighten everyone.

Thanks. I'll be sure to clap during "Drive All Night" next time....
