So, does the book come with instructions in the book regarding how to do a child's hat versus an adult sized hat? Not a baby hat....more like a hat for a soon to be 9 year old.

Hi there, the instruction booklet includes all the basic skills and 3 patterns (a baby blanket, a basic scarf, and a basic hat), but we have many more patterns on LionBrand [dot] com. Simply type in "loom child hat" into the search box to pull up patterns; the first one should suit your needs. when i made a long loom to do a blanket the pegs keep coming out

Hi midnight1234ist, make sure that you push the pegs in all the way during set-up, and then while you're knitting, be careful not to pull too tight on the yarn as you make a new stitch (like we show in some of the other tutorial videos, you want your new stitches to be made with even tension, so that they neither pull at the pegs nor cause your fabric to bow in unevenly).
