i strongly doubt the blu-ray rumor because blu-ray is owned by sony and they surly wouldn't hand over their technology to a competitor but anything is possible

@Justin1shelton Really? I didn't know Sony owns Blu-Ray. I know the PS3 is compatible with it, but I didn't know Blu-Ray is a Sony subordinate. If that's the case, you're probably right but I was just repeating what the article said. =)

I swear if it doesn't have better graphics and better 3rd party support, I'm abandoning Nintendo's ass and getting either Sony or Microsoft's console. They dissapointed me twice in a row and I'm sick of it.

The graphics hopefully will improve, though gameplay is of course far more important. No one wants to play a game with amazing graphics if it's not fun, right? As for 3rd party support, don't get your hopes up. There's only a handful of good 3rd party titles and I doubt there will be many more. If you're gonna shift sides, I would go with Sony. (I own a 360, and the PS3's supiriority became painfully obvious AFTER I bought it. Xbox LIVE is a better service than PSN, but the system itself, meh.)

@lazyluigi101 Yeah, I also agree that online service needs to be better. We need like a username system or something, achievements even? (Without completely copying Microsoft of course :P) And get rid of those damn friend codes. I mean really, when you find out one of your friends has a wii and an online game like you, you have to meet up with them again just to exchange the friend codes. Now that's no fun is it? Also voice chat on all games. Even public matches. Only private matches is BS.

This is true, it's not called the Wii 2, and details are not known.

i think the wii 2 is fake, when i read that its would be release in the Q4 of 2009 and you can trade in your wii for it. Becasue it too early for a new console when the wii is selling fine. Nintendo is not that stupid. Second "trade in your wii for a wii 2" sounds like a good way to make money. in my opinions this is a pile of bull.
