Police in Oakland, CA on Tuesday searched for multiple suspects who opened fire into a group of people recording a rap music video in a parking lot and wounded seven, including a toddler and two adults who were critically hurt. (Nov. 29)

Its amusing to read the comments here. I'm English and white and I can't help but think that if it weren't rappers or it weren't blacks the posts would be different. If it was some white musician making a rock video it would be a "tragedy" and no doubt the police would be throwing every resource available at it.

@DarrelfromZeeland Give unlimited power to the same police department that has a history of planting drugs, falsely imprisoning people, and even murdering people such as Oscar Grant? I dont know about that. There's probably a less extreme way to curb the problems in Oakland
