Moved magnets closer in adjustable frame. Snug fit shaft into bearings. Condensed coil. It's running off of 30V DC and two .5 inch thick 2 inch diameter neodymium magnets together on bottom. When running on 13.5V it barely moved. It's still too slow and weak on 30V. I could stop it with my fingers and I'd like to keep it around 12V. This coil is just too big and heavy for these magnets and wattage. I'm going to try smaller coils...maybe 2 side by side or have 4 or 5 in a circular pattern. Then maybe move on to brushless with an arduino controller.

  • Nice motor!! Would it increase the RPM adding two more magnets up top?

  • What happen if it breaks apart? it would fly all over the room?
