Burning Man 2010 - Metropolis - The Gate Road

I don't know who, exactly, is responsible for the signs on the Gate Road every year, but I really appreciate the thought that goes into selecting what will display there, and in what order it will appear.

I drove my bike out to The Gate Road this year in an attempt to capture all of the signage. I took several films with a little point and shoot and hoped to patch them together into one film and upload the entire thing.

My camera broke during the course of the week. When I connected it to the computer upon arriving back in the default world, the movies were hosed -- or at least they didn't come across when I tried to download them onto my machine.

I pulled the SD card and was able to recover all of the photos that were there, but the movies came across as *stills* for some reason, with a bunch of text files as well. (I used the excellent PhotoRec to grab them. Get it here: http://www.cgsecurity.org/wiki/PhotoRec)

And it seems that not all of the movie translated very well into stills.

I know there is some overlap in places.

I upload the video in hopes that some Burner out there who enjoys the Gate Road as much as I do sees this, and maybe, just maybe, has some better footage to share.
