One reason I love the Cincinnati Zoo is that peacocks rule the roost. Literally. They are not kept in any kind of exhibit. They live in the parking lot and the general grounds. They pop up and delight you unexpectedly. Men are such peacocks now that I think about it....

@AndromedaChao2 I know what you mean...I've seen several people jump from surprise at their calls. But me? I'm used to their calls, and I love them.

Peacocks don't half make you jump when they suddenly emit that shrilly cry, especially when they do it unexpectantly
