"A Moment In Time" (2011). A short film by Caelia Adams. Logline: A 19th century writer is haunted by his wife in dreams and remembers their time together when they were children.

This is my first time doing a short film (producing, directing, acting in a major role, casting, etc.). "A Moment In Time" was filmed over two days (one for the kid scenes, one for the other scenes) and took six months from start to finish. Credits, a new song, still pictures and a short gag-reel are after the film. Hope you enjoy! Please give feedback on this!

The original premise for this was based on a full screenplay I wrote last year, "Beyond The Sugar Maples", however the film took a life of its own.

Original Format: Recorded in 1920 x 1080 HD, rendered to 1280 x 720 HD (computer limitations and youtube recommendations)
Camera: Canon 7D at 24p
Editing Program: Sony Vegas HD Platinum Studio
Color/Effects: AnyFX

Camera Operator: John Sears

Starring: Seth Gandrud, Caelia Adams (myself), London Tobin & Payton Burns

  • Visually pleasing.

  • Looks neat!

  • I was very impressed with all of it. The acting is solid and the chemistry between you and Seth is remarkably realistic. As I watched this clip I felt I was watching a million dollar Hollywood movie at the movie theater. Great Job!
