This is from the second night at the Forum in the Summer of 2005. It was the first time James Brown came back to the u.k after his sucessfull beating of prostate cancer and he was slimmer and full of soul that night. We got right to the front of the stage and i recorded as much as i could from my phone.I was always doing jb dance moves and he did acknowledge me and point at times when he danced. Was soo kool. Here is an example..'Now i want you to watch this..'..For a man who has just beaten cancer, he was dancing amazingly fast here. And even though he never performed the normal splits in his later years, he still managed to do the mid-air splits that he was also known for. r.i.p Mr brown

  • Very bad quality!!! i prefer not watching it!

  • @carobc777

very pointless post...i prefer you not typing !

  • Once you go to a james brown concert then you can comment..No one went away from a james brown concert saying it wasn't good because even in his later years you got a slice of james brown.Even in his final televised show..at the electric proms..he gave us something original...He went out on top rather than performing show after show making huge mistakes..it never happened.

  • @xplaybwoix Did he acknowledge you when you were up the front of the audience?

  • @8bobthebuilder

Yeah coz we was all dancing and I was kinda drunk and hyper so he knew I loved seeing im move..He danced alot that night, full of energy and I think saw this part of his life as a re invention since he lost weight, not effected by cancer etc...He points to me at 0.07 , saying ' and now I want you to watch this'

  • James=Funk!!! MJ couldn't hold a candle to the brutha.

  • surely, and even more surely the best dancer was jb.

  • "everything i ever learned was from james brown" Michael Jackson... MJ stated that his BIGGEST influence was James Brown on many occassions. his dance performance and singing style were all influenced by James Brown so if someone says the greatest dancer they ever saw was James Brown they have a great argument b/c he influenced the greatest dancers
