강호동 잠정 은퇴 선언..."세금문제 제 잘못, 시청자들께 죄송"

최근 세금탈루 혐의로 수억원대의 추징금을 부과받아 물의를 일으킨 MC 강호동이 연예계 잠정 은퇴를 선언했다.

강호동은 9일 오후 서울 마포구 도화동 서울가든호텔에서 긴급기자회견을 열고 이같은 입장을 밝혔다.

이날 침통한 표정으로 회견장에 들어선 강호동은 카메라를 향해 허리를 숙여 사과의 인사를 했고 모두발언을 한 뒤에도 다시 자리에서 일어나 고개를 숙였다.

강호동은 "최근 벌어진 세금문제는 그 이유를 막론하고 관리를 철저하게 하지 못한 제 불찰이고 잘못"이라며 "국민 여러분의 실망과 분노가 얼마나 큰 것인지 뼈저리게 느끼고 반성하고 있다"고 말했다.

그는 "시청자들께 웃음과 행복을 드리는 게 제게 주어진 의무이자 명령인데 어떻게 뻔뻔하게 TV에 나와 얼굴을 내밀고 웃고 떠들 수 있겠느냐"며 "이 시간 이후 잠정 연예계를 은퇴하고자 한다"고 밝혔다.

강호동은 "현재 진행하고 있는 프로그램은 제작진과의 상의를 통해 최대한 방송국과 시청자 여러분께 피해가 가지 않는 방향으로 조율해 하차시기를 정하도록 하겠다"고 밝혔다.

그러면서 강호동은 "시청자 여러분께 받았던 사랑을 절대 잊지 않고 감사하며 살겠다"고 덧붙였다.

but it's not like he's dead....he just needs time.. along with his fans, i will also support him and wait for him to come back to entertainment...cause it all just can't go on without one of the best MC's.

I dont know everything to the exact details but pretty much he lied about his income to dodge a bit of tax money, He got an investigation making him cancelling a few recording for shows and now hes chosen to retire ad midst all this scandal. Its kinda bs if you ask me i support him , politicians and other fags do this for breakfast and just because a celebrity does it they put the pressure on him etc. And the politicians say that hes not a good role model by doing this which is ironic
