On one of the most beautiful days of 2009, myself, Zac and Dan could be found in the beautiful seaside town of Dawlish, awaiting two absolutely unmissable railtours to Penzance.
The first to appear was seen at Langstone Rock, with DRS' 37194+37087 working 1Z70 Birmingham International-Penzance, the driver gives a small blast on the horn, as he powers the handle around the famous curve.
The Return was also witnessed from Dawlish, this time filmed from the footbridge, just west of Dawlish Warren station, in aid of some excellent thrash. However, it wasn't to be as the train was unfortunately following a late running SWT 159, so they were placed on Caution signals on the curve, meaning the full thrash build up was lost as they passed under the bridge, a lovely little 2tone is included though.
I do sincerely apologise for the extremely long delay to the arrival of this video! Who knows.. I might get back up to date oneday...!
Enjoy!
