RETRON 3 review part 2

Part 2 of 2. Classic Game Room HD reviews the Hyperkin RETRON 3 video game console that plays Super Nintendo SNES, Nintendo 8-bit NES and 16-bit Sega Genesis video games. It even has S-Video (which works for Genesis and SNES) as well as standard composite video. The Retron3 comes with 2 wireless controllers which are acceptable for NES games but have poor Genesis button mapping. More importantly though, the Retron 3 allows you to play with your original controllers for Genesis, NES and SNES!! Now, that's a feature!! This CGR review of the Hyperkin Retron 3 shows gameplay from several video games including Gaiares on Genesis, Ultraman on SNES and Zanac on Nintendo Entertainment System NES. This video shows the s-video quality of the Hyperkin Retron3 compared to a modified Sega Genesis Model 1 and demonstrates the audio quality. Video quality is very impressive and audio is not bad, although it lacks some of the dynamics that the original Genesis produces. Overall performance was awesome and CGR thinks that this console should not be overlooked when shopping for replacement old school systems. Flexibility, quality and original controller compatibility make the Retron 3 a bombastic classic video game console.

you forgot sega master system, I know you were joking about all the extra systems at the end but I really wish they had a sega master system slot, if they have NES they should have master system, then you really wouldnt need anything else

I loved the ending, thought it was hilarious. However, I cringed seeing you put the CDs out there and dropping them around. Can't stand disc abuse =P

@sonicmario64 Back in the 90's S-Video gave a clearer picture than with regular audio/video hook ups. Not as good as HDMI out today but it was nice back then.

I got this thing, sounds a little off for nes and it doesnt play smb3 but i think it may be my cart (although it works on my grey box)
