  • I've barely ever heard good pop music made by the japanese - it'll always be some atonal sick shit, it seems like they really love it.

  • Truly a tone-deaf artist, and all in harmonic minor for added horror-crap. It sounds like Kate Bush got brain damage by being hit on the head with a 3000 pound plate of bad spaghetti.

  • I'd like to know who played guitar on this, or who wrote the guitar part. It sounds like a warped siren at the end and yet it's entirely in John's style. I'm kind of blown away by how good this song is.

  • I don't know how you can know that this song came out in 1981 and hear this chorus and not find it an amazing piece of writing: I don't remember what you promised, but I know you didn't keep it.

  • Just wonderful!

  • @MentalSelfMutilation This song has nothing to do with you. It's her reacting to having her husband shot dead in front of her.

    Self-centered git.

  • pretty cool. she really made creative music

  • here I am thinking she said "take my ring off"

  • this song sounds like the theme of some low-budget never heard of horror/thriller flick gone wrong

  • This is the only song I've ever heard of her's. I dunno which list I first read about this song, but I wouldn't have found this without it.

This song is basically her arguing with and not believing in herself to the point of her doubting even her own physical stuff like hair ("Let me take my wig off!). This is like borderline personality disorder (which kinda like the Tsundere character archetype) internal dialogue or like.

This is like when I'm arguementative and paranoid.
