So in what way does this improve the way you focus?. It doesn't rest on shoulders for better stabilization etc it's just another ring but on the side

Follow focus can be very handy, but this one is $399. 400 bucks for a f****** hardware kit, get real.

I dont get it? why cant you just use the normal focus ring? Have to get an extra thingy to the side...
