Chapter 1, Part 1:

"Mom seriously do we have to go?" Alexandria asked her mom
"Yes Alex the decision is final, it has been for months now!" her mom said shoving the last of the suitcases in the car and tossing a duffel bag up to Lexi's dad who was loading all the stuff into the boat.
"But Canada is so boring..." Lexi complained.
"Lex shut up, it'll be fun." Her older sister Victoria said.
"Shut up V, you were complaining about it last week!"
"But I've accepted that it's inevitable and decided to try to enjoy myself, at least I'll get a tan if nothing else." Tori said helping their dad snap down the boat cover and jumping off the trailer frame.
"Gloria Marie Morgan!" their mom yelled. "Get your ass out of that house now! You are going to Canada and that is FINAL."
"Ohhhhhh" Lexi & Tori said looking at each other.
"I could have been at the beach in Florida this week with my sorority sisters, but no, I have to drive up to the land of mosquitoes with my family." Glory said stepping out of the house wearing a jean mini skirt and a revealing black halter top along with her black stiletto heels.
"Jeez Glo, didjya get dressed up enough?" Tori asked. She was in a simple pair of light colored skinny jeans and a green spaghetti strap shirt with some matching green flip flops.
"Well at least you look better than Alex." Glory said wrinkling her nose at Lexi's loose fitting gray sweat pants that were cut off into knee length shorts, dark blue wife beater, and blue flip flops.
"Hey!" Lexi said looking fown at her outfit and not seeing anything wrong with it. "Its Penn State colors, I thought you might like." Lexi added, with a little laugh.
Glo just rolled her eyes and the whole family piled into the suburban. Lexi was in the very back row by herself and Tori & Glo were in the middle row.
Glo decided to text Tori
'So after Alex falls asleep you wanna put make-up on her? You know how heavy she sleeps... -G'
'Oh yeahhh, sounds good to me! -V'
'Sweet! She'll never know what hit her... -G'
'We might want to wait until she falls asleep again after we cross the border cause you know she'll just wash it off at the rest stop there. -V'
'True that, good plan. So after we cross the border and she falls back asleep we'll get her. -G'
'Exactly. You know, I'm kinda looking forward to seeing the Jonas boys again, its been 5 years and I'm sure they've probably grown up well... -V'
'They were always cute, especially Joe, I used to have the biggest crush on him... -G'
'Yeah. Kevin was my first kiss that summer when I was 14. -V'
'He was? You never told me that! -G'
'There's a lot of stuff I don't tell you lol -V'
The girls continued texting like this for a while and then they both put on their ipods and fell asleep.
