Here we have a '76 Olds 98. This car was purchased by my Grandfather in '77 with 7k miles on it. He drove it until it had 193k on it, and parked it. Save for 6 months in '03-'04, it has been in storage ever since. At that time, I needed a car and bought it from him. I put new tires, belts, a couple hoses, etc on it, put a battery in it and it fired right up. It's been sitting for 8 years, and a couple weeks ago, it started right up. All of the accessories seem to work just fine, though I'm not certain if the AC is good. It blows, just not cold. It has the Rocket 455 engine in it. The tail light spacers have dry-rotted and fallen off. There's a little rust in the rear bumper and the bottom of the doors, but like I said, it's been in storage for more than half of its life! The only thing mechanically wrong that I saw was one of the rubber fuel lines leak, but that's just due to dry-rot. I have a lot of new filters and the service manual too. A
