General Brock's October Soiree

October 17, 2009 The annual General Brock's October Soiree celebrates the Universitys namesake Major-General Sir Isaac Brock and the rich cultural and historical heritage of Niagara. General Brock acted as host for the evening, and highlights included authentic period performances by student-artists and others from the Marilyn I. Walker School of Fine and Performing Arts. Proceeds from the event directly benefited Brock Universitys Campaign for a Bold New Brock.

The $75-million Campaign for a Bold New Brock is the biggest fundraising initiative in the Universitys history. Its goal is to increase endowments for student financial assistance, to invest in teaching and research facilities, to expand knowledge and to empower our faculty as educator-researchers and innovators.
