2L-TE LJ78 startup issue

Having troubles after injectors having redone. Either Air leak or fuel leak.

@madmick82 timing is ok. the reconditioned injectors were sticky just after 3 months after rebuild. problem seems to be solved now

no the more moist it is the better....diesel in north america is very dry - you can call up John or Phillip at ATEB (Burnaby) they know their stuff and thats where i got the info from...do you put in a diesel conditioner?

@hkharmen1 yes, running diesel additive. I went to Ateb, but I didn't feel really satisfied there.

hey mine does the same thing. I spoke to my mechanic who worked on these in hong kong...he loves the engine and says alot of the cabs there have the same engine and are doing well over 800 000kms...the reason he gave me for the white smoke during startup is that diesel in north america is alot less moist and it will do this for 10-40 seconds before its warmed up and then its fine.

you have by the looks of it a air leak some where in the lines from the fuel filter to the injector pump
