I suck at math, but lets see if I got what you told me:
-The centroid is where the medians of the triangle meet.
-A median leads from a vertex to the midpoint of the line across from it.
-When a median is divided by a centroid, one part of the median happens to be twice as long as the other. Methinks I got it.
