That's it, I am buying only a midi keyboard, all the rest will be controlled by my mouse, I just hate midi mapping.

Hi!
Nice Review!
What happens with the faders when using them for the mixer(Reason 6 in my case). If i switch between the mixer banks (1-8 ,9-16 etc) then obviously the fader wont move to its "software postion" as it is not motorized, so once i move the physical fader, will the level jump to where ever the actual physical fader sits on the Zero SL or do i have to move the fader past the software position(in Reason) to "catch" it before its affected?
hope this makes sense....
Cheers

@bruunm1975 Makes perfect sense. However I believe the behavior is set by the DAW not the controller and Reason I am not familiar with. I know in live you set it to scale, jump or catchup but again I am not in the know on Reason sorry.

Automap works with this correct? If so does it save the mapping preset?

I'm planning to buy this midi controller to use it for live mixing in Reason 5 ,
would be too complicated to use for a beginner ? or I will be fine ?
Thank you for this professional review ;)

@Pl4sm0 You should be ok, be prepared to spend some time to get to know it well though. But hey that should be all part of the fun.
Dont worry you will be fine...
