  • @bkxerzor I disagree and can say that these are REAL women with actual knowledge networking knowledge and experience. I know for a fact that one of them has been at Cisco for over 10 years and has many certifications. I am sure they can field any question you might have about networking. At the very least, they can use proper grammar. ;-)

  • @CastroGiov You are really stretching here with that one. I am not sure showing the human side of engineers is really "stooping low". It is good for young ladies to understand these jobs and responsibilities. Maybe Juniper is too busy trying to develop a working, stable OS to create videos like this for the community. ;-)

  • I know right, women can be networking engineering too not just men. I am so glad that we have the opportunity as women to work in this field. I am majoring in that right now and it is a good program.

  • @rkwnov Yea they are lucky we dont code a vector analyzer to replace them, I have a question maybe you dont write code for broadcom chipsets on cable modems but do you know what would cause the dynamic channel change issue that the modems have when the upstream blade load balances to a different frequency (causing the subscriber to loose VoIP and Internet conn)? Seems to be going back and forth with the vendor and the provider. Making modems stay on 1 blade seems to help.

  • lmao!!!

I would like to speak to one of those woman and askd that just basic questions about network hhaha, that will be epic fail for them

  • Good girls

  • that's why is so many cracked software around:0

  • Hiw many times is engineer mentioned! "I'm an engineer and this is me on a skateboard"

Juniper Networks would never stoop this low.

  • @rkwnov At an entry level, a testing engineer may set up and document simple test cases. As they become more experienced, Software Test Engineers may set up very complex test case scenarios, write test scripts and perform white box testing - a method of testing software that tests internal structures or workings of an application, as opposed to its *functionality*.

So, if this is really an 'engineer' -- what is a technician?

  • @mindprism Sigh.. she is an engineer in a team of engineers who together help create your aforementioned IP by ensuring that the coder's program adheres to agreed upon set of constraints and goals.

The "test engineer" is supposed to be the person who plans and creates the test suites, not the coder. They are supposed to predict and detect problems better than through a "coding engineer's" self assessment.
