This is a clip of dance from the theatrical adaptation of Peter and the Wolf by Marc Arthur. It was a beautiful play. A moment in time that can never again be exactly captured for the actors worked with dance and live action painting that can only be done once. Sure, the play can be restaged and the actors can again dance and paint but it will not be the same act as what was seen the first time. Bravo, to Marc Arthur and all his conspirators. They truly are music makers and dreamers of dreams.
Thank you so much, for posting this video. Marc Arthur's production of this unique and emotionally compelling vision was certainly an extraordinary event to behold. This particular moment was one of the "lighter" scenes in a show that also left many with at least a lump in their throat or a tear in their eye. Very powerful and provocative work by all. Thanks again for helping us remember a show few are likely to ever forget for a long, long time.
