Here is another little clip of "Body and soul", that was one of the "classic" bands of LowerSaxony, Germany.
The band toured the clubs and some of the "soulful" festivals in Germany during the 80th and 90th of the last century; and so the band found itself at an open-air - event in Travemünde, a very windy city by the sea - damn sure it was at that certain day in July 1996. And it was raining quite hard that night ...
The lineup was: Orlando "OJ" Jimenez stood in for Joe Burke, who wasn't available for that gig.
Hilmar Kahl, the constant bass player of the band, took over the drumset and Thomas Schwarze, the former bassplayer and one of the successfuller "NDW"-musicians of the 80th, took the bass.
Christian "Chrille" Schulz is rocking and bluesing on the Strat.
Andreas Bürgel sits on the keyboards.
Susanne Schätzle and "Günni" are on backing vocals.
The hornsection of the day consists of Udo Rethwilm (the founder of "Body and soul") on trumpet, Rolf Gaedecke (trombone) and Ralf Nowy (saxes). The latter was earning money as an arranger and producer - for example for Nina Hagen.
Have a good time.
Best wishes.
