Hey, in this video I'll show you how to get a "brushed metal" back on the back of your iPod. This only works with iPods with CHROME backs (the shiny backs). It looked so good on my old iPod that I decided to do it on my new iPod Touch 2G. Basically all you'll need is: 1) iPod with chrome back. 2) ScotchBrite sponge. 3) Cloth.

  • people need to take better care of their ipod/iphones. put a back cover on it and dont drop it so you dont have to do this in the first place. honestly this is stupid. I agree with @davidroberts612

  • @maciejlondyn you can still access your serial number from inside your device: settings/general/about/serial number and if you plug it into your computer it will also tell you in itunes. You would need the serial number if you needed to get it replaced under warranty by apple.

  • Your Irish?? Could have sworn you are Polish!

  • ummm i get what you mean it probley would look better if your ipod is like really messed up cuz its old but if yur ipod is new then i wouldnt recommend this :/
